Esther Derby studied under gerald-weinberg and co-founded the aye-conference with Weinberg and johanna-rothman. She became a prominent voice in the Agile coaching and organizational development community, authoring "Agile Retrospectives" (2006) with Diana Larsen. Derby is one of the primary transmission channels through which Weinberg's ideas about congruent-behavior, organizational dynamics, and the human side of software reached the Agile movement.
