Fiona Charles is a software testing consultant and an active member of the community that coalesced around gerald-weinberg and the context-driven testing movement. She is best known in relation to Weinberg for editing gift-of-time-2008, the festschrift assembled to honor Weinberg on his 75th birthday.

The festschrift, published in 2008 by dorset-house-publishing, collected 17 essays from colleagues and students reflecting on Weinberg's influence across software development, consulting, testing, and organizational change. Weinberg himself described it as the recognition he was most proud of—more meaningful to him than formal awards because it represented the authentic testimony of people whose work he had shaped. The volume was edited with care by Charles to capture the breadth of Weinberg's impact across decades.

Charles participated in aye-conference and engaged with Weinberg's ideas on quality, congruent-behavior, and the human dimensions of software work. Her editorial work on gift-of-time-2008 stands as an enduring artifact of the community Weinberg built.
