RE-THINKING STATE AND LOCAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS POLICY
December 11th and 12th, 1995
A conference on Re-Thinking State and Local Telecommunications Policy will be held on Monday, December 11, 1995 through Tuesday, December 12, 1995 at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
At a time when the U.S. Congress is trying to pass sweeping telecommunications legisla-tion, state and local governments are facing critical issues in a rapidly changing technological and industrial environment. At this conference, the Communications Initiative of the University of Colorado at Boulder will bring together leading national and regional figures from the public and private sectors to discuss the stakes for industry and the general public in the changes taking place in telecommunications policy at the state and local levels.
Who Should Attend? This conference will be of interest to telecommunications policy researchers and analysts, policy makers at both state and municipal levels, and representatives of the cable, broadcasting, telephone, and public utility industries.
