``` RRE is still in its summertime low gear.

As a periodic reminder, you can stop your subscription to RRE by sending a message that looks like this:

To: rre-request@weber.ucsd.edu Subject: unsubscribe

Make sure you "unsubscribe" from the same account you used to "subscribe".

If your mailer tells me "User unknown" then I'll stop your subscription myself to avoid getting overwhelmed with bouncemail. You're welcome to start your subscription up again, though. Just send a message that looks like:

To: rre-request@weber.ucsd.edu Subject: subscribe firstname lastname

Whether you're a longtimer or a newcomer, you might wish to have a look at the RRE Archive, which currently contains over 150 really interesting files. To get an annotated index to the Archive, send a message that looks like:

To: rre-request@weber.ucsd.edu Subject: archive send index

Feel free to pass this index along to anyone else on the net who might be interested. It includes the instructions needed to retrieve the files and learn more about RRE.

Finally, you'd be most welcome to send me anything you think might be worth passing along to the 1600 RRE subscribers worldwide. I may not pass it along, but I'll certainly read it and acknowledge it. Even if I don't send it to the whole list, I can usually send it to specific people who might like to know about it.
