UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN DIEGO DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, TENURE-TRACK

The University of California, San Diego, Department of Communication is seeking to fill a position beginning Fall, 1997, in the area of political economy of communication. It would be a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. We are looking for someone with expertise in one or more of the following fields of research: mass media industries, policies and law; the organization and regulation of telecommunications and new technologies; international communications and the role of communications in developing countries.
