Dear Colleague,
If you are using the Internet or other networked communications to meet the needs of children or those who serve them, we would like to invite you to enter the 1996 National Information Infrastructure (NII) Children's Award. Alternatively, if you know someone who is, please forward this msg to them. There are other categories too.
Brief info on the Awards follows with instructions on how to get more. If you are interested in serving as an NII Awards judge, pls inquire by responding to this message.
We're especially excited about the Children's Award this year. Please help us put a spotlight on those who are using the Info Hwy to help and empower kids. Special thanks to Laura Breeden and Jean Armour Polly, Chairs of the NII Children's Award.

An Invitation to Participate
The National Information Infrastructure (NII) Awards recognize innovation and excellence in use of the "Information Highway." From school networks, Intranets and telemedicine to community networks, educational Web sites and broadband, the NII Awards looks for projects that show the world the power and potential of networked, interactive communications.
The Awards are sponsored by more than 70 industry, community and government leaders including AT&T, the US Postal Service, IBM, BellSouth, Sun, Fujitsu, Netscape, Lotus, CompuServe, Price Waterhouse, BBN, SRI Consulting, the Natl.
