Just a brief note to let you know that Mike Corrigan , the systems person for the UCSD social sciences mainframe, will be leaving UCSD. He has unfortunately been laid off in a restructuring of the social sciences computing facility here. Mike has maintained the technical side of RRE since its inception almost three years and a thousand messages ago. Given that the world still does not have easy-to-use bullet-proof software for maintaining large mailing lists, there is no way that RRE would have happened without Mike's extensive voluntary assistance. Can we please give him a round of applause?
