Volumes I and II (still available at $25 each) include contributions from Colin McGinn, Francis Crick, Oliver Sacks, David Chalmers, John Searle and Pat Churchland.

Here's what the critics say:
"You guys have a marvelous magazine ... a very courageous magazine. You publish a lot of things that would not be published in routine philosophical and scientific journals, and that seems to me exactly right at our present state of investigation of consciousness." -- John Searle.
"With JCS, consciousness studies has arrived." -- Susan Greenfield, Times Higher Education Supplement.
"There is no other journal quite like it and one day we shall look back to its appearance as as a defining moment ... and at the price, it's a snip!" -- Jeffrey Gray, Nature.
"The journal is surprisingly accessible to the general reader." -- David Chalmers, Times Literary Supplement.
