INTERNET SERVICES LaborNet is the only labor on-line service that offers full Internet access. All LaborNet subscribers get access to World Wide Web, Gopher, Telnet and FTP services. LaborNet's publicly available Web page is accessed on the Internet at the address . LaborNet's gopher is available at . LaborNet is Telnet-accessible at the Internet address . LaborNet maintains an Anonymous FTP archive at the address where you can log in as "anonymous" and by using your e-mail address as a password. Labor files are kept in the "pub/labornet" directory.

We also have special rates for groups of users -- $50 per month for a group account, and $3.50 per month for each individual account appended to it. Group accounts become cost effective for five or more users billed to a single address. With eight individual accounts, the cost averages $8.67 per month; 15 accounts averages $6.41 per user per month; and the costs go down from there.

We also have special rates for students and low income people/organizations. If you qualify as a low income user or organization, we will include 2 hours of off-peak telecommunications charges per month at no cost. Student rates are available only to people who are registered with a College, University or High School, and either have an existing Internet account or can dial direct to our California office modems. SOFTWARE OPTIONS IGC currently offers a choice of software depending on your computer type and capacity and modem speed. You can use any modem software to access IGC's text-based interface. IGC InterACT software is a graphic interface which connects via modem and phone line that includes World Wide Web, Gopher and other Internet tools. A Windows version is currently available; an Apple Macintosh version will be available by summer 1995. If you select one of these options, you will receive the software and the accompanying mini-manual. At this time, new subscribers pay no extra charge for this software. Zterm is shareware modem software for Apple Macintosh systems. This software enables you to use IGC's text-based interface. If you select this option you will receive the software, a quick reference card and the IGC User's Manual. $5.00 will be charged to your account for shipping and handling. If you use Zterm, you will need to pay $30.00 directly to the shareware creator. Instructions are included on the diskette. If you do not make a software selection, you will receive the IGC User's Manual and you can access IGC's text-based interface with any modem software.
