The University of California, San Diego, Department of Communication is recruiting for the following position beginning Fall, 1996:

Political economy of communication

This position is at the assistant professor level, tenure-track. We are looking for someone with expertise in one or more of the following fields of research: mass media industries, policies and law; the organization and regulation of telecommunications and new technologies; international communications and the role of communications in developing countries.
