Washington, DC-based privacy advocacy organization founded by Marc Rotenberg. Agre collaborated with EPIC, particularly through co-editing 'Technology and Privacy: The New Landscape' (1997) with Rotenberg. EPIC represented the policy dimension of the privacy community that Agre engaged with from his more theoretical position.
