a solicitation of blurbs

``` The Red Rock Eater News Service will soon celebrate its second anniversary. To mark this occasion, I would like to collect some endorsements of RRE from its satisfied subscribers that I can use in advertising the list to others. In the United States anyway, these endorsements are called "blurbs", such as the brief statements from prominent authors that one encounters on the back covers of books. Please include your name and whatever affiliation you would like to be identified by. For example,
Professor J. H. MacDonald Department of Veterinary Dentistry University of Perth Perth, Australia
Abigail Mirsky Field Organizer Mothers Against Neoclassical Economics Chicago, Illinois
Jim Carter Second Grade Teacher Thaddeus Hoagland Elementary School Athens, Georgia
My experience is that people on the Internet want mailing lists to be useful and to have a high ratio of useful stuff to nonsense. If your own blurb could explain concisely and intriguingly how RRE has been useful to you then that would be just great. Other categories of praise for RRE are, of course, most welcome.
Thanks very much.
