An anthology of previously unpublished articles, papers, lectures, and notes by Deming, edited by Joyce Orsini, who directed the Deming Scholars MBA program at Fordham University. The book fills gaps in Deming's published record by drawing from the Library of Congress archives. Includes material on the system-of-profound-knowledge, leadership, the theory behind the 14 Points, and reflections on his Japan experience. Valuable for researchers because much of Deming's thinking was communicated orally through seminars and lectures rather than in formal publications — this book preserves some of that material.
